It's Monday and it's also the last Monday of my sophomore year! Testing is over and school is nothing but a breeze now. This year has flown by so quick and I can't believe how quick my high school days are going. Seems like just the other day I was coming to Kiowa as a 7th grader and to a school where I didn't know many people. The people I did know were all older than me and many of them were my cousins or friends from church. Times flies when your'e having fun I guess.

Thank God for Fridays!

Thank goodness today is Friday! Fridays mean a good weekend is almost here and no school for a few days! Saturday is the day of rest at the Daniel Household and we all sleep until about 12:00 and then get up and lay on the couch eating popcorn and drinking sweet tea!

Spring Break 2013

This year, my family got a huge surprise on our Spring Break. My grandmother called and told us to not make any plans and to pack our bags, "We're going to Washington DC." It was definitely a huge surprise to all of us. When we normally take a vacation, we all go to the Gulf and enjoy the white sands and clean blue waters-this year was different. Our trip started out and a great start. The arrival to the Dallas-Ft. Worth airport started at 6:00 and by 8:00 we were flying over Kentucky. While in Washington we all got to see the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and the Arlington Cemetary where we saw President Kennedy's grave and the eternal flame that is above it. This cemetary has over 15,000 graves and all graves are in a complete straight line at every angle you look. Many smart men took years to plan where each grave would be set at in order to have them all lined up and neatly placed. This vacation may not have been the most adventurious of our trips but was most definitely the most informational.
